LaLaport Coffee Festival 2026 is back!
Coffee lovers, foodies, creatives and weekend explorers can look forward to LaLaport Coffee Festival 2026, taking place from 14 to 16 August 2026 at LaLaport Bukit Bintang City Centre.


Returning bigger than before, the 3-day festival brings together 60+ coffee and lifestyle vendors, champion baristas, young coffee talents, hands-on workshops, creative experiences and exclusive shopping rewards. The festival is designed to make coffee culture accessible to everyone — from seasoned coffee enthusiasts and aspiring home brewers to casual coffee drinkers, families and lifestyle seekers. 

At its heart, the festival celebrates coffee, creativity and community, while providing a platform for young baristas and Malaysia's growing specialty coffee scene.

More than a coffee marketplace, LaLaport Coffee Festival 2026 transforms the Ground Floor of LaLaport BBCC into a lifestyle destination centred around the many ways people enjoy coffee. Visitors can explore specialty coffee roasters, cafés, artisan food producers, lifestyle brands and independent creators, with 60+ vendors spread across the festival. Expect everything from freshly roasted beans and handcrafted beverages to pastries, desserts, coffee accessories, creative products and lifestyle finds.

The festival is designed to encourage visitors to discover, taste, learn, shop and connect — making it an experience for more than just coffee aficionados.

Ryan's fourth-place finish at the 2023 World Latte Art Championship places him among the top finalists from that year's global competition.

Visitors can watch Ryan and Wind Ther brew and make coffee live, interact with them and experience their coffee-making skills up close.

Open to the public. No registration required.

This is a particularly strong opportunity for visitors who want to see what goes into professional coffee preparation beyond simply ordering a cup.




WATCH MALAYSIA'S NEXT GENERATION OF BARISTAS COMPETE


Malaysia Young Barista Championship 2026

The festival will also host the Malaysia Young Barista Championship, putting the spotlight on emerging coffee talent. 

The championship is structured around 9 competitors, progressing through practice, preliminary and final stages across the three-day festival.

Young baristas will brew and present their coffee before a panel of judges, with performances assessed against established criteria. Top-scoring competitors advance through the competition, with the championship serving as a pathway towards international competition.

Competition Schedule

14 August — Practice Day
Participants prepare and fine-tune their routines.

15 August — Preliminary Round
Competitors face the judges as they battle for a place in the final.

16 August — Final Round
The remaining competitors compete for the championship title.


The programme provides visitors with a rare opportunity to see the technical skill, precision and creativity behind competitive coffee preparation.

Selected creative workshops are limited to two sessions per day with 10 participants per session, making them intimate hands-on experiences.
