Inside RapidKL Hang Tuah LRT/Monorail Station

Just a three-minute walk connects LaLaport BBCC to Hang Tuah LRT and Monorail station, two of the city’s main lines under the RapidKL network. Visitors can travel directly from hubs such as KL Sentral, Ampang, or Petaling Jaya, and arrive right at the doorstep of the BBCC precinct via a sheltered walkway.

This link positions LaLaport BBCC within Kuala Lumpur’s expanding Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) ecosystem, reducing reliance on cars and keeping the city moving efficiently.

We suggest you to plan your routes and check real-time arrivals. Those who prefer a quieter ride should avoid the evening rush between 5PM–7PM, when both the LRT and Monorail lines are at their busiest.

LaLaport mobi van service at Jalan Hang Tuah Entrance

Designed for short-range, intra-city travel, mobi’s DRT (demand-responsive transit) service now covers the LaLaport BBCC precinct. It links you to key downtown zones like Pudu, Bukit Bintang, and Imbi, effectively serving as a last-mile connector within the BBCC area.

Riders can use mobi’s multi-stop option to hop between nearby landmarks—such as Pavilion, Times Square, and LaLaport itself—on a single fare. The standard fare is RM 3 per ride (adult) for trips within the designated zone.

🚌 How to Ride mobi

Step 1 – Download the mobi app

Available on both the App Store and Google Play, the mobi app lets you book, pay, and track your ride in real time.

Step 2 – Set your pickup and destination

WhatsApp Image 2025-09-04 at 3.38.47 PM.jpegEnter “LaLaport BBCC” or your nearby landmark—such as Pavilion or Berjaya Times Square—as your pickup or drop-off point

Step 3 – Choose your route
Select a single ride or multi-stop option if you plan to hop between several locations within the downtown zone.

Step 4 – Confirm and board
The app assigns the nearest mobi shuttle to your pickup point. Simply wait at the designated pick-up bay at LaLaport BBCC’s Ground Floor entrance.

Step 5 – Pay and go
Each ride costs a flat RM3 per way within the coverage area. Payment can be made in-app or directly to the driver (depending on availability).

Remember to enable location services in your app settings. This helps the driver pinpoint your exact pickup spot and shortens waiting time during busy hours.

Travellers can also charter a private van directly from LaLaport BBCC to KLIA, KLIA2, or Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport (Subang). Ideal for groups, families, or corporate trips, these transfers offer fixed rates and professional drivers.

We recommend booking at least 24 hours ahead, especially for early morning flights. Always confirm luggage capacity as the van fits 6–8 large bags comfortably. Booking can be done by calling the hotline at +6011 5587 2981

Vehicles can be rented by the hour or by the day via the GoCar app—giving you full access to Kuala Lumpur without the costs or commitments of ownership. The fleet caters to every journey, from eco-friendly EVs like the Ora Good Cat and Renault ZOE to reliable petrol options such as the Nissan Kicks for longer drives.

Do book early for weekend slots to secure better rates, and always snap a quick photo of the vehicle’s condition before you hit the road.

Beam e-scooters at Jalan Hang Tuah

For quick, eco-friendly rides around the area, Beam e-scooters are available along the Jalan Pudu Entrance. Simply download the Beam app, locate a nearby scooter, and ride between BBCC, Pudu, or nearby Bukit Bintang in minutes.

Each unit is GPS-tracked and can only be parked in designated Beam parking zones, ensuring tidy operations within the city.

We recommend you to check the brakes and battery level before unlocking—low battery scooters may not end rides properly. Parking outside marked zones may incur small penalties, so it’s worth sticking to the designated official Beam spots.
