Doutor Coffee was first established as a coffee roasting plant that roasted quality coffee beans from around the world. On April 18, 1980, Doutor Coffee opened its first European styled café in Harajuku, Japan. At only 9-meter square or approximately 90 square feet, Doutor Coffee managed to efficiently use the space to serve high quality food and beverages. The small shop was a great success and it paved the future of Doutor Coffee in Japan. Good quality beans coupled with excellent customer service, Doutor Coffee now has over 1,200 outlets throughout the world. Now, Doutor Coffee is expanding into Malaysian shores to serve quality coffee with a touch of Japanese elements.
