Terms & Conditions – Photography Contest @ Bon Odori 2025
Contest Period: 26 July – 3 August 2025
Winner Announcement: 11 August 2025
Location: LaLaport BBCC
1. Eligibility
• The contest is open to all residents of Malaysia aged 18 years and above.
• Employees of LaLaport BBCC, its affiliates, event partners, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
2. How to Participate
• Capture photos during Bon Odori 2025 at LaLaport BBCC, showcasing festival elements such as lanterns, Yukatas, performances, or the Japanese bazaar.
• Post your photo(s) on Instagram with min.8 photos in one album with all the following hashtags:
#LaLaportBonOdori2025 #LaLaportBBCC
• Ensure your social media account is set to public for the contest period.
• Multiple entries are allowed, but each participant is eligible to win one (1) prize only.
3. Submission Guidelines
• All entries must be original, taken during Bon Odori 2025 (26 July – 3 August 2025), and not previously published.
• Photos must not contain any offensive, obscene, or inappropriate content, or infringe on the rights of any party.
• By entering, participants grant LaLaport BBCC the right to use, reproduce, and publish their photos for marketing and promotional purposes without additional compensation.
4. Winner Selection
• Entries will be judged based on creativity, composition, and how well the photo captures the Bon Odori spirit.
• The decision of LaLaport BBCC and the appointed judging panel is final and binding.
• The winner will be announced on 11 August 2025 via LaLaport BBCC’s official social media pages.
5. Prize
• One (1) Grand Prize: Nintendo Switch.
• The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and not exchangeable for cash or other items.
• LaLaport BBCC reserves the right to replace the prize with another item of similar value without prior notice.
6. General Terms
• LaLaport BBCC reserves the right to disqualify any entry deemed incomplete, inappropriate, or non-compliant with these Terms & Conditions.
• Participants agree to abide by all contest rules and decisions made by the organizer.
• LaLaport BBCC reserves the right to amend or cancel the contest, its terms, or its mechanics without prior notice.
7. Liability
• LaLaport BBCC shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in this contest or the acceptance/use of the prize.
8. Privacy Policy
• By participating, entrants agree to the collection and use of their personal information for contest administration and marketing purposes in accordance with LaLaport BBCC’s Privacy Policy.
